NEWS RELEASE

Jocelyn Fortier Creative —JFC—is launching their new site showcasing the international fashion campaigns the Gastown creative studio has been doing over the past few years. The vertically scrolling pages take a new spin on layouts in the JFC raw yet elegant style. Keeping within the undone sense of the work, the site pages scroll up to reveal handwriting, sayings, random graphics, collages, art, videos and such work the studio has become known for. https://jocelynfortier.com/

JFC builds brands by creating campaigns, photo shoots, look books, editorials, videos, songs, packaging and digital communication—Integrated campaigns with the ability to roll out through all forms of social media.

The team of creative director, art director and designers believe in story telling. They create emotional, often sensual, campaigns that touch the soul and linger. They resonate. That is why brands like kensie have reached tremendous international success and attracted licensee partners like eyewear, intimates, fragrance, handbags, shoes and more.

Creating campaigns for brands like Guess, kensie, kensiegirl, mac&jac, Aritzia, Calzedonia, Park Royal, and more, the creative boutique creates and orchestrates massive shoots importing talent from New York, London, Australia and Europe: international models such as Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor, Sarah Stephens, Jennifer Pugh, Naty Chabanenko, Emily Didonato etc, and photographers such Raphael Mazzucco, Mary McCartney, Nino Munoz, Geoff Barrenger, Candace Meyer, Mark Gilbert, Salazar and more. Music is a passion of JFC’s and they love to collaborate with musicians to create songs that aid in the branding process. Parker Bossley, Louise Burns, Brian Carson, Julian Fane have been some favored talent. Playlist is on the JFC site (https://jocelynfortier.com/?page_id=498)

Furthering their passion to collaborate with artists, JFC recently worked with street artist “the dark”. In the kensie f11 video, The Dark is seen teaching the models how to looptag – the art still remains in Gastown’s Blood Alley. https://jocelynfortier.com/?page_id=53

The diverse team at JFC is obsessed with art and beauty. They have a history of creating powerful collages and are currently working on a series called ‘Making faces” where they work the faces of models from their campaigns. https://jocelynfortier.com/?page_id=137. Artists and designers that have worked at JFC have gone on to work in major art directing positions at Tom Ford Beauty, Ralph Lauren, Juicy Couture and Mac Cosmetics.

For years, the Gastown studio has had campaigns run in magazines like Vogue, W, Elle, (sometimes up to 12 page spreads), as well as massive billboards in New York, Los Angeles, South America and Asia. They have also created store concepts both freestanding and as ‘shop in shops’ in major department stores.

JFC has a goal to inspire. They continually seek inspiration and are currently looking at collaborating with known and unknown artists.

The site will be updated with art and projects as they evolve.
